Introduction

Patricea is a Singaporean Chinese who spent 29 years of her life on the island city before relocating to Bali in Indonesia in 2006 to build a family with her husband. She began writing during her second year of undergraduate study in English Language at the National University of Singapore, contributing reviews on theme parties at discotheques for online lifestyle magazines. For the six years after her graduation, she held positions of Features Writer for lifestyle magazines; Editor for a magazine targetted at youths; Assistant Senior Editor for Mathematics division at an international book publisher; as well as copywriter for an advertising agency whose client base comprised mainly Japanese brands like Hitachi, Daikin and Motul. In 2006, Patricea switched to working freelance and has since produced profile content for various business websites, search engine optimised content for content providers, and lifestyle features for travel information websites and a Bali-based magazine. She personally enjoys writing about travel destinations, hotel reviews, and other lifestyle articles.

I have been published on TravelingTales.com, and through that, I have been published in the Chilliwack Times, Langley Advance, The Delta Optimist, and The Richmond News. I am also currently writing for HotelsByCity.net. As I am based in Bali, I am looking for opportunities to produce articles and photographs about this Indonesian island for publications and online media. If advance notice is given, I am also open to covering neighbouring Asian countries, as well as European destinations as I annually return to Italy for visiting my husband's family.
